Grundschule Meldorf
Der Schulhof der Grundschule in Meldorf wird räumlich von den alten Bestandsgebäuden im Süden, Westen und Osten sowie im Norden von einem Neubau begrenzt. Durch die Neugestaltung kann der Schulhof in vielfältiger Weise genutzt werden. Er wird flächig angelegt und durch Naturstein-Sitzelemente gegliedert. Es entstehen so unterschiedliche Aufenthaltsbereiche für die Schulkinder.
Im Westen entsteht eine Spielfläche, die mit einem Kunststoffbelag (EPDM-Belag), der als Fallschutz dient, befestigt wird. Die Farben des Belages sind Blau und Ocker. Es wird ein Spielschiff aus Holz und das vorhandene „Krähennest“ aufgestellt.
Die Spielfläche wird durch abgestufte Granit-Sitzelemente eingefasst und dient auch dem Unterricht im Freien. Weitere Ausstattungen sind eine Malwand und ein „Kickertisch“. Der Schulhof erhält eine farbenfrohe Bepflanzung aus Blütensträuchern, Stauden und Gräsern.
The schoolyard of the elementary school in Meldorf is spatially limited by the old existing buildings in the south, west and east as well as in the north by a new building. The redesign allows the schoolyard to be used in a variety of ways. It is laid out flat and structured by natural stone seating elements and thus creates different lounge areas for the schoolchildren.
In the west a playing surface is created, which is attached with a plastic coating (EPDM coating) that serves as a fall protection. The colors of the coating are blue and ocher. There is a game ship made of wood and the existing "crow's nest" set up.
The playing surface is bordered by graded granite seating elements and is also used for outdoor lessons. Further equipment is a painting wall and a "foosball table". The schoolyard receives a colorful planting of flowering shrubs, perennials and grasses.
